Welcome to the website for the Waco Tourism Public Improvement District (TPID).

The TPID is made up of hotel properties in the city limits of Waco with 75 or more hotel rooms. These properties pay a 2% assessment on their occupied rooms for the purpose of generating funds to market and promote Waco as a convention and tourism destination.

New Incentive Program for Groups

The Waco TPID is pleased to offer a new incentive program to meeting and event planners, filmmakers, sports planners and others.

The program is simple. The TPID offers a reimbursement of $5 per consumed hotel room for new business brought to Waco. Proof of consumed room nights must be obtained from the hotel(s). Minimum of 100 room nights to qualify.

Simply fill out the form below to allow the TPID to consider your request and look at the dates to ensure it is a need period for the hotels. The board will consider your request and will indicate whether it agrees.

Then, after your event, fill out the form below, and include proof from the hotel of consumed room nights. Again, the board will look at the form and consider your request.
