The Mayborn Museum Complex brings together, in one location, the resources of hands-on discovery rooms and interactive natural science and cultural history galleries, including outdoor exhibits. This rich combination provides a wide spectrum of engaging learning opportunities for learners and visitors of all ages.
The Mayborn Museum Complex celebrates the natural science and cultural history of Central Texas. This 143,000-square-foot building on the Baylor University campus sparkles with numerous vibrant exhibits and compelling hands-on activities for the whole family to enjoy over and over again. From permanent exhibits such as Waco at the Crossroads of Texas, Strecker's Cabinets of Curiosities, Governor Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village, and Discovery Rooms to special exhibits that fill the calendar all year, the Mayborn Museum is never short of opportunities to explore and learn.
The Mayborn offers lectures, gallery talks, public forums, and other programs filled with compelling stories and rich experiences, from Native American Heritage celebrations to gallery talks with scientists.

Group Information
Make your group outing one to remember with a visit to the Mayborn Museum! Explore and learn at your own pace with a self-guided experience. Due to the limited size of Play Waco, this exhibit is not suitable for groups.
All school groups must provide at least one group leader (18 yrs+) per 10 students.
